Winter Wonderful

A 7-day online retreat rooted in finding slowness, rest and joy in the depths of wintertime.

Most of you will know about my love affair with simple living.

In 2017, I published an entire book on the subject, and since then, I've been in pursuit of experiencing joy through simplicity when it comes to each area of my life.

And if there's one thing I know for sure, it's when I make self-love a priority, I'm undoubtedly a better mother, writer, friend, and lover. Slowing down and being ruthlessly intentional about how I design my home environment and daily experience is the foundation of this beautiful practice.

As I type these words, I'm snuggled up with the softest grey blanket in the corner of my kitchen with a steaming mug of rich, fragrant coffee. It's pouring with rain outside, and as I peer out the window towards the wild, roaring waves, it appears that the rest of the world is in hibernation mode like I am.

Because in wintertime, we get to see. Just as nature strips itself to its bare bones, we have the opportunity to do the same. Our view of life can be clear, inhibited, and fresh, but only if you take the time to pause, rest and gift yourself what you need.

And when you pay attention to you, to your soul, you might find that by the time winter folds into spring, you'll know and love yourself even more beautifully than you ever have before.

Winter Wonderful is a course rooted in helping you to discover slowness, rest and joy in the depths of this season. Those who enjoyed my book 'The Art of Simple' or have joined me in my previous courses will adore the material I have to offer in this online retreat experience.

From my home to yours, I invite you to join me. Pop your kettle on, wrap yourself in something warm, and together, let’s discover how wonderfully healing wintertime can be.

This course is for you if:

You're in a bit of a winter funk and would like a fresh, positive perspective.

You deeply desire to discover slowness and simplicity despite living a fast-paced, hectic lifestyle.

Your home space is important to you, and you'd like some practical tips for creating ultimate cosiness and comfort.

You're fed-up with digital clutter, constant notifications, and a never-ending to-do list.

You are ready to take your self-care to the next level, prioritising your own mental, emotional, and physical health.

You sometimes feel overwhelmed and would love a handful of simple tools to combat daily stresses.

You'd like to discover a new kind of appreciation for yourself and your loved ones around you.

You are wasting time each day figuring out what to wear and wish to dress more intentionally and feel lovely in doing so.

You yearn to re-design your day and allow more time for the daily rituals you love.

Each day offers a cosy cooking recipe, beautiful journal prompts and a collection of ideas for cherishing yourself in the depths of winter. There will also be exclusive content from some of my favourite wellness experts, a handful of lovely, soul-enhancing playlists to listen to, and plenty of fun giveaways throughout the week.

Here’s what this unique online retreat has to offer:

Lessons to inspire

Each morning for 7 days, a lesson will be sent straight to your inbox. Each day will be centred around a different theme, and you'll be encouraged to take intentional action through journaling and a few simple tasks. Furthermore, all content will be beautifully presented in a digital workbook which you’ll be able to download at the end of the week.

Lovely community

You'll be invited to join a lovely members-only space, so that we can come together to share tips, wisdom and resources. The feedback from my previous courses is that this interactive space is what really inspires and connects like-minded folk together in an invaluable way. Please note: this course is no longer offered live, however, you’ll still be able to find all the goodness in this group.

Beautiful bonus content

7 x brand new ultimate comfort cooking recipes.

Exclusive videos from some of my favourite wellness experts.

Daily giveaways from local makers and artisans.

A beautiful music playlist to bring gentleness to your day.

"We withdraw not to disappear, but to find another ground from which to see; a solid ground from which to step, and from which to speak again, in a different way, a clear, rested, embodied voice we begin to remember again as our own."

— David Whyte

Please note: this course is now offered as content-only. There are no live elements, meaning you can sign up, and work through the material at your own pace.

FAQs

Do I need to follow daily, or can I go at my own pace?

The course is designed to be experienced over 7 days. However, you can absolutely go at your own pace and access the content whenever you wish! I want you to take your time, implement as you learn, and listen and re-listen as often as you desire.

How is the course content delivered?

We all have different learning styles, which is why I've got you covered. The content is delivered in multiple ways to suit your preference via newsletter, facebook posts and video. I have three ways for you to ingest the content, so there's absolutely no reason to worry if you fall behind or need more time.

I don’t have Facebook. Can I still do the course?

The Facebook group is where all the fantastic interactive magic happens; however, if you don't have Facebook, that's fine. You'll still be able to email me with your questions and learnings if you wish.

How long will I have access to the content? does it expire?

I'd love for you always to have access to this content, so if you join now, it's yours forever. The course is best enjoyed live for the interactive component, however, you'll be able to download a lovely digital version of the material at the end of the week.

Will the recipes be gluten/dairy-free or vegetarian?

I believe there's no "one diet fits all" which is why I love to offer recipes that can easily be adapted to suit your dietary requirements. All recipes are vegetarian, and offer various ingredient options. Plus, in usual Eleanor style, you'll find no fussy methods!

How much time do I need to put aside for each lesson?

The recommended amount of time to spend for each lesson is approximately half an hour. However, how deep you'd like to go is entirely up to you. I've designed it so you can dip into the content whenever suits you, plus you can always revisit a lesson if you need to.
