Before getting stuck in to any work, I start with a small, simple ritual that makes the world of difference to my productivity and clarity.
First, I brew a pot of tea, and light a candle or some incense. Next, I do a power breathing technique to get the oxygen flowing properly though my body and let go of any tension (read about Wim Hof if you're interested).
By this stage, I'm super relaxed, and take a few minutes to give thanks for three things I'm grateful for in my life. To finish, I think of three goals that I'm working towards, and envision what it truly feels like to have already achieved them 💕 It only takes ten minutes or so, but it's absolutely worth it.
