Sharing food with those I love, is what drives my passion for cooking. My idea of the perfect evening, is to spend it with family and friends, the kind of get-together where hours pass fleetingly and conversation flows effortlessly, a natural kind of entertaining, relaxed, intentional and thoughtful.
This morning, I'm delighted to share with you a beautiful short film titled 'Tessuti Evenings'. It's all about celebrating friendships, taking the time to entertain and nourish the ones we love, our summer evenings will be spent opening up the doors to new recipes, shared playlists, (one too many cocktails) and a delicious banquet of home-cooked favourites. I hope it inspires you to do the same.
I first met Ali, owner of Tessuti, about four years ago when I first started writing this blog. Each time I visit her beautiful, Herne Bay store, I am captivated by the extraordinary beauty that surrounds me. There's a thoughtfully curated selection of luxury gifts and homewares, such as locally made ceramics, home linens and gorgeous quality cookware, you'll also find a selection of sought after European brands, stunning jewellery, and furniture pieces. You might recognize some of the items, as I am delighted to own a few, and often feature them in my photography. Browse the selection online here.
'Tessuti Evenings' is the third in a series of short films which bring to life the magic of simple, everyday moments. You can view the first and second one here.
