    Here's a simple recipe for gently spiced pear chips, enhanced by a sprinkle of sweet, musky cinnamon, and baked until crisp. There are several good things you might want to consider eating alongside your chips; a sharp, salty cheese such as blue vein, or a gentler, creamy cheese is pleasing too. Photos by Greta Kenyon, for My Family Table Although autumn has arrived, there's still plenty of warmth in the air, and an abundance of late summer produce to make use of. Today, I share a recipe for grilled fruit kebabs, a lovely way to enjoy the last of the gloriously sweet stonefruit. Peaches, apricots and nectarines are sliced in half, and threaded on to a bamboo sticks, the fruit is then painted in a syrup of lemon, maple and coconut oil, and grilled until succulent and caramelised.  The recipe, incidentally, also works beautifully with plums or figs. 1/4 cup maple syrup1/4 cup melted...

It's National Nut Day! and to celebrate, I've teamed up with Alisons Pantry to create a delicious recipe for you to try. Sweet, salty and crisp, these paprika and rosemary toasted almonds are all kinds of wonderful. It goes without saying, that nuts love salt. It brings out their delicate sweetess and enhances flavour, a nice quality sea salt makes all the difference in this recipe.
