MAKE YOUR OWN PERFUME BALM

Compose your very own signature scent with homemade perfume balm, it’s wonderfully simple to prepare, and can be made at home with only a handful of natural ingredients. I personally find most commercially made perfumes to be overwhelming, their fragrance cloying and artificial. One look at their ingredient list does nothing to improve my opinion, either. Once you’ve started making your own, you’ll be pleased to learn how heavenly it can be. Your homemade blend can be as simple or as complex as you choose, it’s all about developing your own personal scent profile that’s unique to your senses. You...

SLOW ROASTED PORK BELLY WITH BUTTER BEANS, SHALLOTS AND ROSEMARY

In a baking dish, arrange the meat, potatoes, butter beans, shallots, garlic and rosemary. It just feels right. 🍂 What are you craving at the moment? What kind of meals are gracing your table?

Phew. Six chapters completed, and three more to go. I've deeply enjoyed writing my next book, but oh! let me tell you, it's been quite a challenge, thats for sure. It's refreshing working on something other than a cookbook for a change, and I just know you are going to love it, my friends! A few of you have been asking, will there still be recipes? and yes, there will be a few dotted throughout the pages, amidst the other goodness. I've decided to share one with you today, as it simply can not wait until the book is...

SIMPLE WAYS TO REFRESH YOUR HOME

How you keep your home, is essentially, how you choose to live. It should be a place that tells your story, and celebrates your day to day life. No matter how seemingly ‘finished’ your décor might be, an inspiring sense of change in your home is always welcome. The more you enjoy your home, the more you’ll take care of it. Instead of allowing mess to accumulate on your kitchen bench, you might feel inspired to de-clutter, and create a pleasing arrangement in it’s place, or instead of leaving piles of laundry build up in the corner of the...
