Roller blends are possibly the easiest way to incorporate the magic of essential oils in to your everyday. I'll always pop a few in to my handbag, as well as the kids school bags, so that we're always prepared, and can whip them out when needed.  

Because they are diluted with a carrier oil, they're safe to use on children from 12 months plus, and can be applied as often as needed. Please be careful to avoid using any 'hot' oils in your blends, such as clove, cinnamon and oregano, as they can irritate the skin. 

What you’ll need:
10ml glass roller bottle - you buy them online here
Essential oils of your choice - see my favourite blends here
Carrier oil - I use fractionated coconut oil as I find it absorbs in to the skin easily, although almond oil or jojoba oil also work well.

Once you’ve decided on the blend you’d like to make, carefully add 8-10 drops of essential oils in to your roller bottle. If you are making a blend for a child over 12 months, start with 2 drops to begin with, and go from there.

Fill to the top with the carrier oil of your choice, pop the lid on, and carefully tip upside down a few times to disperse.

To use, apply to the soles of feet, along spine, wrists, temples, and back of the neck.
