Winter is a time for slowing down and looking after yourself, and to me, there's nothing more nurturing than a long, hot soak in the bath with candles flickering and a lovely book to read.

Perfect for hydrating and softening the skin, this almond milk, pink salt and essential oil bath soak is indulgently luxurious, and will leave you smelling lovely.  I'm loving the calming benefits of Juniper Berry and Copaiba at the moment, although Lavender, Vetiver and Cedarwood would also make a gorgeous addition. 

1 cup pink Himalayan or Epsom salts
1 cup almond milk powder*
10 drops essential oil of your choice

 *You could also use cow’s milk, coconut or oat milk powder. I like the Stir It Up brand, check it out here. 

Put all the ingredients into a bowl and toss gently to combine. Transfer to a dark-coloured glass jar to store. 

To use, add a large handful to your bath and allow it to dissolve in the hot water.
